MARY GRANT is exhibiting and taking part in the workshop programme at CraftAlive Griffith Fri 1st June - Sun 3rd June 2012
PROFILE ON MARY………..I taught Textiles, followed by Design and Technology throughout the curriculum, for 38 years at Tallangatta Secondary College. In 2005 one of my Design and Technology Year 12 students, gained a perfect score at her VCE exams and had her creation displayed in VCE Top Arts at Melbourne Museum in 2006. 2006 also saw this lass win the Australian Young Designer award!
Am now “retired”, from full time teaching, but exhibit at Regional Craftalive Shows and run hands-on workshops on request. In the latter part of my career, I used Liquid Radiance exclusively for any fabric colouring work my students undertook so I am able to use my experience in helping you set off on the wonderful world of creativity and colour. It is the most versatile and easy product I have ever used to get such superb results.
Workshop Times - Fri 3pm-4pm:Jazz up your Calico Tote Bag, Sat 3pm-4pm: Shaving foam & liquid radiance colour, Sun 3pm-4pm: Colouring a silk scarf!

Creative Writing by Dahna Set up before previous CraftAlive Show

DAHNART will be Exhibiting at CraftAlive Griffith - Please go check out there stall….

PROFILE of Dahnart - My Name is Dahna I travel to all CraftAlive’s with my Dad, my Mum and my sister in which we all have a site that we work on. It originated with only myself and my sister working together on Dahnart, and then my parents started coming for a ‘getaway’ in which they love catching up and chatting with all the other exhibitors. They now have the ‘bug’ ! We then all extended things further, designing my wall art, my dad creating his terrific lanterns and my sister using her creativity and sewing a beautiful range using kimono fabrics.

So this is where we are today, all playing ‘creative’, travelling together, living together, and working together. We have a great time and look forward to each CraftAlive making money and catching up with everyone. We wouldn’t choose any other lifestyle!!!

Dad (Fer) makes and sells recycled tea-light lanterns

Mum (Liuda)sells my removable wall art for me.

Sister (Sonia) makes and sells owls, birds and other

Me (Dahna) makes and sells bright painted wood product in which I personalise on the spot.
